HI FI SPITFIRES ARE A 3 PIECE PUNK ROCK BAND FROM THE NORTH EAST OF ENGLAND.

FORMED IN 2008, THIS BAND HAS TOURED THE UK AND EUROPE EXTENSIVELY AND IS TO EMBARK ON THEIR NEXT EUROPEAN TOUR IN MARCH 2017 THEIR SOUND HAS BEEN DESCRIBED AS A CROSS BETWEEN SLF'S INFLAMMABLE MATERIAL AND THE CLASH'S GIVE 'EM ENOUGH ROPE. THEIR DEBUT ALBUM ENGLAND SCREAMING WAS RELEASED IN 2010. IT IS ALSO AVAILABLE ON iTUNES. THEY RELEASED A SPLIT CD IN 2011 WITH ARGENTINIAN PUNK BAND DESAHOGO. THEY HAVE NOW RELEASED THEIR SECOND ALBUM NIGHTRAID IN OCTOBER 2014. THEY MADE THEIR DEBUT APPEARANCE AT REBELLION PUNK FESTIVAL IN 2012 TO A PACKED HOUSE. THEY HAVE TOURED WITH TV SMITH AND THE VALENTINES IN THE UK AND TOURED GERMANY WITH 999. STEVE STRAUGHAN, GUITARIST AND SINGER IS ALSO THE NEW GUITARIST OF THE UK SUBS.
